Infrastructure
as a Service
Our fully managed Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) empowers your teams to focus on what really matters for your business.
Flexible and Scalable
Buying servers, storage, networking, and data center space is expensive and slow. In contrast, IaaS enables you to quickly add servers to respond to short-term demand, seasonal spikes, or business growth. When the resources are not required, you can release them.
It becomes simple to expand into new regions or establish multi-geographic redundancy, supporting business growth and customer experience. This means your teams spend less effort on infrastructure management and more time building the business.

CastleHill Managed Risk Solutions’ business is intrinsically tied to the IT infrastructure on which they deliver services. Serving multiple, highly regulated industries, CastleHill decided their own risk profile was too high to manage their infrastructure in house. They made the decision to outsource to a trusted partner who could ensure 24x7x365 security, compliance, data availability, and back-up/recovery capabilities. Say Goodbye to
Outdated Systems
On-premises, fully owned hardware and software can create security and performance challenges as they age. Hardware breaks and server software support ends, increasing the risks of downtime and costly maintenance windows.
With IaaS, you get access to newer technology when you need it, without using CapEx or tracking depreciation on old assets. Pay-as-you-go models reduce costs for underutilized infrastructure including cloud-based computing, storage, and networking resources.
Not all workloads require the newest, more expensive GPUs or fastest access storage. Comport works with you to create a plan that balances workload requirements, budgets, and cloud resources.

The global average cost of a data breach is $4.4M, according to IBM’s Cost of a Data Breach 2025 report. While the average cost of a cyberattack on SMBs is smaller, they are at higher risk of shuttering following a cybersecurity breach. In on-premises models, IT teams are responsible for maintaining infrastructure security including researching and manually applying all security patches. They’re also responsible for planning and executing migrations when hardware and software reach the end of their support life.
IaaS environments operate under shared responsibility models, where the provider is responsible for infrastructure patches. This frees up teams to focus on core business applications and competencies.
If you’re in a regulated industry such as healthcare, you need an on-prem option that still offers the benefits of a cloud-based IaaS service. ComportSecure partners with HPE Greenlake to offer a customized solution with the security of on-premises infrastructure and a pay-as-you-go model.
ComportSecure Advantages
ComportSecure IaaS is a holistic multicloud service that reduces vendor lock-in, offers defined SLAs, and seamlessly integrates with other ComportSecure services (Disaster Recovery as a Service, Hosting, Managed IT Services).

Scale your Business
Meet changing business and technology needs, whether you’re scaling up or down. Pay-as-you-go models offer additional flexibility by only charging you for what you use.

Reduce Vendor Lock-in
The top public cloud providers make it expensive to move your data out of their clouds by billing egress charges. With ComportSecure, you own your data.

Get the Best of Every Cloud
A multicloud strategy enables businesses to choose the best service from each major cloud provider, rather than being locked into a single system.

Rest Easy with Complete Redundancy
With Geo-Redundant data centers as well as Backup-as-a-Service and Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service options, we have all you need to protect your data.

SOC 2 Type II Certified

Are You Ready for the Cloud?
An inadequate understanding of your technical environment and a lack of a tailored strategy for business goals increases the odds that a cloud or IaaS project will fail to deliver on cost savings, performance, or project timelines. Gartner has predicted that 25% of organizations will have experienced significant dissatisfaction with their cloud adoption “due to unrealistic expectations, suboptimal implementation and/or uncontrolled costs.” Conducting sufficient discovery and creating a clear cloud strategy before your project begins is the best defense against cost overruns, late implementations, and mismatched capabilities.
Comport’s Cloud Readiness Assessment provides you with the data, insights, and recommendations to ensure your cloud and IaaS strategy are tailored to your technical environment and needs. Comport begins with a comprehensive cloud assessment rooted in the principles of cloud physics—understanding how applications behave, how resources scale, and how performance, cost, and resilience are interconnected. By evaluating workload patterns, dependencies, and operational realities, the assessment reveals where inefficiencies exist and how to optimize for agility, security, and cost control. The result is a clear, data-driven path to a cloud and IaaS strategy that performs the way your business actually operates, not the way a generic model assumes.
During the Cloud Readiness Assessment, you’ll have a Comport resource dedicated to learning your environment for five days. The process looks like this:
Pre-Planning
We conduct preliminary surveys, research, and online assessments and collect documents to clearly understand your technology environment. We review this information to identify where to focus onsite discussions.
Onsite Reviews
Once we get on-site, we will complete interviews with key personnel to understand individual goals and requirements for any business units involved. We will then complete an infrastructure assessment and application reviews.
Analysis
We will provide an analysis of your core infrastructure and discuss cloud best practices before making a recommendation for your organization. You’ll receive a written report with key findings and recommendations.
